Candice Herriott became the owner of Article 5 Salon last year when the former owner of Eleven/Eleven Salon decided that he was leaving Charleston. Herriott decided that it was the right time and a great opportunity after accomplishing over 12 years in the beauty industry. Her background as a former Hair Color Specialist and Educator for Scruples Professional Salon Products equipped her with the tools to personalize color and cutting techniques that will set her clients apart from the rest of Charleston.

Kim Williams is a Charleston native, and began her career in the beauty industry over 8 years ago. Her goal is to create for her clients a personal individual style. Her services range from women, men and children's cuts and color to her specialties of hair extensions, bridal updos and makeup. And if you have made that infamous trip to the store and bought "THE BOX" Kim is just the girl to fix it.

Steven grew up and received his basic training with hair in Philadelphia. Since cosmetology school he has spent time living in Paris, traveling Europe, and studying with Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, California. Working behind the chair for 6 years, he gives credit to living in New York City for his no-nonsense approach to hairdressing. He fell in love with Charleston four years ago and regards it as his home. From photo shoots, video shoots, to fashion shows he has worked with many different types of hair, in many different situations. Always looking forward to new challenges, he greets your hair as a medium - to get more creative than your last visit, or simply to maintain consistency.

Tamsyn Rickards joins the Article 5 salon team from Washington state, believing that the right color and cut determines the overall success of your entire look. Tamsyn has 3+ years in the salon industry, with an intense apprenticeship completed from well known hairdresser Terrance Renk. Tamsyn was taught and believes that doing hair is both an art and a science, from choosing the right shade for your skin tone, to knowing how those chemicals will react with your specific hair type. Tamsyn does mens, womens, and childrens cuts and color. She also does facial waxing and specializes in updos for anything from prom to your wedding day.

Originally from Augusta, GA, Chris is an accomplished stylist with over 15 years in the business. He enjoys expanding on the hair's natural beauty whether using his advanced coloring and cutting techniques, or retexturing hair with the keratin straightening system. Trained in graduated cutting, he is somewhat of a perfectionist who likes knowing that he's given his clients "not just a good haircut, but a flawless one." The result? Consistent, cutting-edge designs that are "easy to style and flow with your hair's natural growth and texture so that it still looks great even after it has grown out."
